"Hippo was busily whipping up a green salad with lots of green and colour with the added veggies. Olive oil and lemon juice and minced garlic for dressing. This was served with orange glazed salmon fillets and brown rice palaf. Then we had peach pie and frozen yogurt for our dessert. How good is that? No one complained about anything, just so grateful for a lovely prepared dinner and the company. As we are all a little older, we tend to have our gatherings earlier and return to our homes before the sun sets. If we time it just right, we can watch the sun setting on our way home. Hippo will have to ask Aurora for her recipe for her pie. It was so good. Already we are planning for our next dinner. We decided that it would be 'Potluck' and in about a month's time.We have done the dishes and tidied up following dinner, as Hippo had an business engagement tonight following the dinner to attend. "The fall activities at the senior centers, are soon beginning, and registration has already begun.Some of the popular classes will fill up quickly so the secret is for you to register early.
There are some day trips listed at many of the centers and they all sound interesting and fun.
